Why I March Today – January 21st, 2017

I march because I value the respect and dignity all people deserve, no matter their gender, their race, or their sexual preference. I march because this very respect and dignity cannot be taken for granted, something we are increasingly reminded of as we begin 2017. I march because the fabric of our societies is much more fragile than we may have realised, and complacency can lead to dire consequences. And I march because I am the father of three incredible daughters who want and deserve to live in a world that defends and holds as precious the respect and dignity for women and for all people. #whyImarch #GenevaWomensMarchForDignity #WomensMarchonWashington
