Happy Father’s Day!

Wishing all fellow dads a very happy Father’s Day! The years certainly fly by, and already 6 years ago now I shared this special video on a very special Father’s Day for me and my daughters. Here we go again, and I feel very proud to be a dad to such great young people. I take nothing for granted in this life, least of all this. Happy Father’s Day, enjoy the video and sentiment, and believe, in many things.

Not Again. No More. Never Again.

I am sharing my song, “Not Again,” (down below) in solidarity with and admiration for everyone across America who marched yesterday, on March 24th, in the March For Our Lives. With this song, I pay tribute to your courage and to your tireless work.  You have given me hope for change that will finally make it possible to address America’s unacceptable and deadly gun violence epidemic.

I began to write this song in 2012 after the Aurora shooting, and finished it in 2013 after the tragedy in Newtown.  It is difficult for me to fathom the number of similar tragedies that have occurred since. While I am sickened by this history, I am encouraged by the sense that America has perhaps reached an inflection point. I pray it is so.

As of this writing, “Not Again” has been viewed on Youtube more than 20,000 times, and has led to a variety of comments from many listeners with many different viewpoints. Recently, dancers and other performers have expressed interest in using this song to promote gun control.

I thank you for your support, as always, and encourage you to share this song as we struggle to make America safer for our children.

No more. Never again.  #Marchforourlives #Neveragain

“Take Time,” and have a great start to 2018

I want to wish everyone a very happy 2018! I am starting it slowly and calmly, and taking time to be with loved ones and gear up for the year.  I wrote this song years ago on a snowy New Year’s day in Moscow, and it generally captures my sentiment on this first day of the year. It definitely does today! I hope you like it, and hope your year gets off to a super start, and only gets better!
