If I could be there to hold you
In my arms, I would have told you
All the things I think about you every night

If I could be there to please you
Hold you tight enough to squeeze you
Then you’d know how much I need you, by my side

It feels, forever and a day
Since you went away
Knowing you were gone

As I look, out into the sky
I just wonder why
Days they are so long…so long

Then you’d feel how much I miss you
And you’d know how much I want you here with me

Spend my time thinking of you
